Pharmacological action

PanOxyl Acne is an antimicrobial agent for topical use. It has an antimicrobial effect. This medication is active against gram-positive bacteria: Propionibacterium, Staphylococcus epidermidis.

PanOxyl Acne has keratolytic action, improves tissue oxygenation, the process of granulation of ulcers of the lower extremities. This medicine reduces fat sebaceous glands of skin.

PanOxyl Acne reduces the content of lipids and fatty acids, it has moderate desquamative effect reducing the appearance of comedones and PanOxyl Acne.

Pharmacokinetics

For topical use PanOxyl Acne is practically not absorbed. A small amount of this drug is absorbed by the skin. PanOxyl Acne metabolized to form benzoic acid. PanOxyl Acne excreted by the kidneys in the form of benzoate.
