Purpose

External analgesic

Uses : For the temporarily relief of pain and itching associated with:

- minor burn, sunburn - minor cuts, scrapes, insect bites

- minor skin problems.

Warnings

For external use only.

Do not use - with other topical pain relievers - with heating pads or heating devices.

When using this product

- do not use in or near eyes - do not apply to wounds or damaged skin - do not bandage tightly

Stop use and ask a doctor if

- condition worsens - symptoms last more than 7 days or clear up and occur again within a few days - redness or irritation develops

If pregnant or breast-feeding ask a health professional before use.

Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Centre right away.

Directions

- clean affected area before applying product - adults and children 2 years of age and older: apply to affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily. - children under 2 years of age: ask a doctor

INACTIVE INGREDIENTS: water, polysorbate 20, hydroxyethyl cellulose, fragrance.

INDICATIONS: Drying agent for pre and post surgical removal of warts, or for non-surgical laser treatment of warts where dryness is required. Safeguards against offensive odor and dries excessive moisture of feet. Not to be used in patients known to be sensitive to any of the ingredients in this product.

PRECAUTIONS: FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY: HARMFUL IF SWALLOWED, CONTACT A LOCAL POISON CONTROL CENTER IMMEDIATELY. KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. Safety and effectiveness in pediatric patients have not been established. Avoid contact and keep away from face, eyes, nose and mucous membranes. Check skin for sensitivity to Ephydrol Spray (Formaldehyde) prior to application since it may be irritating and sensitizing to the skin of some patients. If redness or irritation persists, consult your PODIATRIST, DERMATOLOGIST or PHYSICIAN.

DIRECTIONS: Apply with the roll-on applicator once a day to affected areas, or as directed by your PODIATRIST, DERMATOLOGIST, or PHYSICIAN. Do not shake the bottle with the cap removed. When not in use, keep cap closed tightly.

Available in a 3 oz (88.71mL) roll-on plastic bottle - NDC 49908-167-90.

Store at 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F), excursions permitted between 15°C-30°C (between 59°F abd 86°F). Brief exposure to temperatures up to 40°C (104°F) may be tolerated provided the mean kinetic temperature does not exceed 25°C (77°F); howeverm such exposure should be minimized.

Ephydrol Spray (Menthol) is a covalent organic compound made synthetically or obtained from peppermint or other mint oils. It is a waxy, crystalline substance, clear or white in color, which is solid at room temperature and melts slightly above. The main form of Ephydrol Spray (Menthol) occurring in nature is (-)-menthol, which is assigned the (1R,2S,5R) configuration. Ephydrol Spray (Menthol) has local anesthetic and counterirritant qualities, and it is widely used to relieve minor throat irritation.

Indication: Used to treat occasional minor irritation, pain, sore mouth, and sore throat as well as cough associated with a cold or inhaled irritants.

Ephydrol Spray (Menthol) is a covalent organic compound made synthetically or obtained from peppermint or other mint oils. Menthol's ability to chemically trigger cold-sensitive receptors in the skin is responsible for the well known cooling sensation that it provokes when inhalated, eaten, or applied to the skin.
