Hi, my name is Anja and I am 20 years old. I have been going through this stress for quite a long time now. It has been coming and building up for years. I would describe myself as a relatively strong person, but about 2 weeks ago I have been feeling otherwise. I would get panic attacks in public and nausea, rapid breathing, racing heartbeats and many more. I could feel something building up and waiting to come out to the surface. "Close to the edge" as some would say. My biological dad has a severe drinking problem and he is the one responsible for my condition at this moment. I would get panic attacks so bad that I would pick up the phone to call an ambulance for myself because I thought I was dying. I wouldn't wish this upon anybody really. I went to the doctor and he diagnosed me with a panic/anxiety attacks disorder. He gave me this Bromaze medication and told me to drink a quater every morning and half a pill every night. First time I drank the quater one morning it hit me real hard and I got very tired, dizzy, had trouble speaking properly and felt so mellow, almost like a sort of "high". I slept almost the entire day. I can feel it suppressing the attacks which is good.. I think this medication will help my stress levels become normal again. When one uses this medication right as doctor indicated, it will help. This medication can be dangerous when mixed with alcohol or when dosage is exceeded so use just as your doctor told you to.
